Additional Support
Each student will have a tutor who they will meet on a daily basisTutors are the first line of support for each young person, helping them to settle in to life at Beauchamp City Sixth Form and prepare them for their next steps. Students have access to a dedicated Student Support Centre where they can access mentoring, counselling, careers guidance, attendance support and health related support.
There is a dedicated resource base for students with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND) which is staffed by a team of specialist practitioners. We are committed to working in partnership with our students and their families to develop a detailed understanding of how to provide the best support. We are determined to ensure equality of access to an academic curriculum through high quality personalised support at the point of transition, working with schools and support agencies to provide the best possible start to Sixth Form education.
We will build on existing support from the outset by carefully planning to meet individual needs and providing access to the curriculum for all.
