Hunstanton Trip
Seventeen of our Year 12 Geographers enjoyed an enriching trip to Hunstanton at the start of June. The trip – which has run annually for the last seven years – provided students with an opportunity to conduct fieldwork that directly linked to the Geography curriculum and strengthened their academic knowledge of the subject.
Down on the beaches of Old Hunstanton, they investigated the nature of sand dunes before examining the effectiveness of coastal protection methods of Groynes, Sea Walls and revetments in the area.
Students found the experience to be informative and enriching – the sun even came out for a brief minute or two!
