We continually strive to innovate and develop our provision to provide you with the very best learning opportunities, alongside time for holistic development, to shape your future.
Regardless of background, we want to ensure that our students are able to succeed and we aim to break down any barriers which may impact on success.
At the heart of our approach to education are the ‘4Rs’ which underpin everything we believe. We will work with our students to develop Resilience, Reciprocity, Relectiveness and Resourcefulness. Through promoting these core values we believe we can help equip our young people to not only succeed academically, but also socially, spiritually, and culturally.
We think that Post-16 provision is not just about attaining high grades, but is also about helping shape our students into confident, well-rounded and well informed individuals. This is why we offer a wide range of extra-curricular opportunities to enrich learning and social development. From being involved in one of our many societies, residential and international trips, and volunteering for or supporting a range of charities and local initiatives. Moreover, we also encourage our students to make use of Future Learn which offers a suite of courses which are designed to prepare young people for the rigours of university life.
As our students come from a range of cultural, ethnic, economic, linguistic and faith backgrounds, this has greatly enriched our daily college experience as we learn together and from one another. Inspired by this diversity we believe in pursuing excellence and equity for all.
