Personal Development Curriculum

Our Personal Development Curriculum has been designed to provide students with deeper knowledge and understanding of a wide range of issues that will affect them in their future. The topics that have been selected are ones which we feel are the most relevant to our students and the wider world and the content of these sessions will be continually updated to ensure that they are up to date and reflective of what our students need. Students will have one session per week, delivered by their tutor where they can explore and discuss a range of issues and as well as expanding their knowledge of the wider world, they will also be further developing important transferable skills such as discussion, problem solving and analytical skills. The Personal Development Curriculum is further supported by a robust tutor programme delivered every day which contains a wide range of activities including assemblies, moral dilemmas and show & tell.
