Shaping Your Future

Our targeted programmes to guide students through the UCAS process from as early as Year 12 help students make the best possible application. We have a range of supportive pathways, including tailored support for students wishing to apply for medicine, dentistry, Oxbridge and Russell Group universities, as well as other institutions. Our UCAS team support students with personal statements, references, interview preparation and application support.

Students who decide to enter other training packages, including apprenticeships and employment opportunities, benefit from our Lionheart Educational Trust careers advisor. They deliver a one-to-one service and work alongside the advice, guidance and progress team to provide a range of services that will benefit students considering these pathways. The team facilitates work experience, careers fairs, application and interview support.

In Year 12 all students benefit from a two week work experience placement. This will give our students a taster of the world of work and build on their applications to universities, apprenticeship and employment opportunities.

Our Partnership with the University of Leicester gives students access to exclusive facilities, staff and opportunities including a bursary should they choose to study at that institution.
